Derryfield Country Club – New Clubhouse

Client: Manchester Parks, Recreation & Cemetery Department

Architect: Dennis Mires, PA – The Architects

Location: Manchester, NH

Completion Date: July 30, 2005

Construction of a new 20,000 square foot wood-framed, two-story clubhouse at the existing Deerfield Country Club. The building now houses a restaurant, banquet facility, golf pro shop, and the City of Manchester Parks, Recreation & Cemetery office. Work required demolition of the existing wood-framed building, along with site work, including excavation of the foundation and site utilities, parking lot, lighting, concrete foundation, engineered wood structure, trusses, plumbing, machinery, air conditioning, sprinklers, electronics, and landscaping. Occupancy of the existing country club was allowed during construction. Demolition of this building occurred after the new building was on line. A pole barn, located on the old clubhouse, was torn down and salvaged before any work began.
