Having just completed a major project at Saint Patrick Academy in nearby Portsmouth, the Saint Thomas Aquinas High School project came to us as a direct referral.

From the moment school got out in June, Meridian Construction got to work renovating 80,000 square feet of interior space at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. In only 10 weeks and by the time school resumed, Meridian had the newly renovated interior ready to welcome students back to freshly upgraded, safer and more energy-efficient athletic space, locker rooms, and classroom facilities.

Renovations included:

• Demo and Abatement of HazMat
• New Life Safety Systems – sprinkler system
• New acoustical ceilings, flooring and paint throughout
• New LED lighting
• New signage throughout
• 8 student bathroom renovations
• Girls locker room renovation
• New stair treads on 5 stairways

With the new gymnasium now finished, Meridian continues managing additional planned projects at St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
